Henry - a liar and a cheat

Henry - "As a footballer you do not have the luxury of the television to slow the pace of the ball down 100 times to be able to make a conscious decision."
Me - As a footballer you train hard on three key areas, physical fitness, skills and decision-making, decisins are made at lightening speed, the best palyers are those with the best skills, physical condition and decision making ability. You work hard to put your body in the right place at the right time and execute the skills with lightening speed and pinpoint precision.

It is quite amazing that one of the most technically gifted players of the last 10 years does not even recognise the simple principles of what makes him such a good player. In fact he recognises this perfectly and that is why this statement is nothing more than a lie put out there for general public whom he believes are beneath him and therefore incapable of recgnising that this was not unintentional but a blatent, cowardly and insipid action by a player who should know better. Does he seriously expect anyone to believe that he is not respnsible for the movement of his own hand. I think he needs to look at the replay and see what everyone else can see clearly.

The longer he goes on denying what is plain for the world to see the more cowarsly he becomes...

  1. So Henry says:

“The first handball was like an awakening. With the first, the ball hit me before I could see it, and after that I had the bad reflex to touch it again and cross it for William [Gallas]. With the first handball, I didn’t even know it hit me. It was after I saw it that I had the bad reflex “Liza, I swear to you, the first time I didn’t even know it hit my hand.”

    In this week's Locker Room:

    * Cheat (noun): Transgressor of rules if transgression is done by a foreign person. Also Filthy Cheat: Foreign person who breaks the rules at expense of Irish person.
    * Opportunist (noun): One who spots and seizes easy chance for glory
    * Square ball (noun): Infringement committed by the French footballist Thierry Henry when scoring controversial goal against the Republic of Ireland in 2009.
